Saturday
Okay, I had basketball practice today in the hall, and it was insane.Mr Ho went crazy-mad, and we all played crazy-mad too. One time, he took the ball and slammed it on the floor. It rebounded up into the air, to the heights of the hanging lamps. Gee, if there was a lamp there it would have broken. ...Cool.

Gee, you guys look familiar
What up, guys? Hey, okay, like, I know I've been gone for like, two weeks? But anyway, my computer broke down (this isn't surprising or unusual anymore) and I was kinda left stranded. So, anyway, I just had this hugely massive fight with my sister and my dad was involved too; nobody invited him. I don't want to elaborate further on it, but anyway, honestly, I am pissed at my dad for joining in uninvited. We went to the zoo today for a lesson. It was such a let-down! But we did get to see the polar bears, at least! They should let us totally roam the zoo on OUR OWN. Anyway, some people suggested getting together after the PSLE (end of primary school exams) and going to the zoo on our own together in a group. NO PARENTS INVITED. Awesome. Anyway, seeya!

Brace
Today it was raining pretty much the whole day, and in the school bus the water was leaking out of unseen holes. Ew, right? The water sometimes drizzled down in a steady line, and anyway, there was alot of screaming from the girls in the back. Which is right behind me.So, I finally decided to stop reading Angel Isle and went on to Daisy Chains. I mean, the first book The Ropemaker was awesome, seriously, but I guess I don't really have much time left to finish the sequel, so I just gave it up. There'll be basketball training tomorrow, and tournaments this month, but anyway, I just have to brace myself for the training tomorrow. I hope the coach doesn't scream at me. Anyway, we've been getting mountains of homework everyday this year, hugely massive difference from last year, definitely. Anyway, you know Unfabulous on Nickelodeon? I love Malese Jow, but not in the lesbian kind of way, mind ya. But anyway, I was thinking maybe it's time to change this blogskin, even though I don't actually want to. Still, tell me what you think! Brace, brace...

Gems
Today my sis and I were at the Suntec Convention Center bathroom. We went into the handicapped one together, and after we'd peed, we tried flushing the toilet. But! It couldn't really flush, so we flushed again and again until the whole thing overflowed! The toilet water was spilling all over the brim onto the floor and I believe the people outside could actually hear. My sis and I were like 'shit' and all. Then my sis got this totally insane idea and tore a few sheets of toilet paper and asked me to pick the stuff out of the toilet and throw it in the sanitary napkin bin. I was like 'WHAT!?'. I refused, of course, and she did it. I was like 'stop!' and I made her stop right there, she'd actually attempted to pick the stuff out of the toilet. I put down the lid of the toilet and flushed it, then we got our things and hurriedly got out. The old lady outside was staring at us. Haha. Anyway, today was my first day in Gems, the children's church group for twelves. It was quite nice and fun. I met a girl from the Peichun basketball team! I've played against her before, but I didn't really recognize her, because she was wearing spectacles. But she thought I looked familiar, so anyway...Anyway! I kinda miss the adult service, I mean, Gems was cool, but I loved listening to Pastor Prince's messages, you know. They were so cool and fun. Anyway, my cousins are coming later and bringing their dog Surprise, a Shih-Tzu Maltese crossbreed. Shalom.

Tomorrow and Yesterday
Yesterday I went to a high school in my neighborhood to get my edusave scholarship with my sister (it's her second time). The school is Kranji Secondary School, and the place was not so crowded when we first arrived. I was directed to sit beside to boys in the first line, who were speaking in Mandarin. My sis was in the second line somewhere behind me. She was squashed in between to yucky boys. Ew. Anyway, after, one of the head prefects or whatever asked the parents to stop jamming up the space in the hall, and asked them to move up to the balcony. The Mandarin version was so funny! The girl's words were so forced and loud. Some people actually covered their ears. I winced.Anyway, after listening to a boring speech by boring people, we stood and turned to the left to get our scholarships from the counters. I got 300 bucks! My sis got 500. Anyway, after we had to wait while my dad had his dinner. My drink was already 3/4s empty by the time his meal arrived.Tomorrow I will be going to GEMS, children's church but only for twelves, alone. ALONE. But!I've decided that I will not be embarrased and all, I will be bold and confident. I will shed that embarrased, low self-esteemed me. I will change, have changed. But the most important thing is that I don't want to be the old me anymore, I wanna be the new me. The new me.

First and Second Day of School
Yesterday was the first day of school. I spent the whole morning pushing down my socks, and the rest of the day doing that, too. Anyway, the teachers are quite okay, none of them are quirky or whatever. Michelle started telling Nicole and Liang Xuan and me after about her brother's antics, of which I shall not mention on this site, but, they were humungously disgusting. Seriously. All of us were laughing, and I mean, laughing. Seriously. So that day passed quite well.Today was fine too, we decorated the notice boards, and all. But I do have one other priority for this year, and by not messing up I mean not slacking, because I really can't slack this year. And also I finished 'Fairest' by Gail Carson Levine. Now Gail Carson Levine is one of my favorite authors, besides Patricia Reilly Giff. Honestly, both these authors are awesome, truly. By Gail I've read Ella Enchanted, the one which spell binded me first, Fairest and The Two Princesses of Bamarre and by Patricia I've read Pictures Of Hollis Woods and Lily's Crossing. Words aren't enough to convey the awesomeness of these authors and their books, you only have my word. I read Ella Enchanted twice, it was just so good! And I intend to read all the other books by Gail. Now from the three books by her that I've read, (I'm not so sure about the rest) I can gather from Fairest and Ella Enchanted that Gail likes to take the plot of a fairytale and twist it into something else which still possesses the plot and beauty and power of the fairytale, but yet is something else in itself. Patricia's Picures of Hollis Woods is about a young girl, abandoned from birth, who has found a good foster family, but runs away from them for fear of hurting them. Lily's Crossing is about a little girl living in America, and her father's promise, a boy come for the summer, and living in the World War II. The Two Princesses of Bamarre is, like all the others written by Gail, awesome and indescribable. In fact, all of these books I've mentioned are indescribable. Yesterday
Yesterday I went out with my Mom and sis to East Coast Park. Well, we walked around a bit first, watching people cycle and their dogs. Then we went into the MacDonalds and had sundaes and nuggets and one large coke. We were talking and I was sucking the coke into the straw, holding it in, and then aiming it at my sis, threatening to shoot her.
Of course, coke was spilt over the table, and when the coke was finished, I was blowing through the straw in her face.
Then we went biking, and after we took off our sandals and stood in the waves. I used a stick to pry the shells off the huge rock which you can sit on, and hey! They were live shells, with the clammy thing in there.
But then when another wave came, I saw a small orange clam washed up, and it was still breathing in the water, but I hesitated and the next wave swept it away. I never saw that clam again, but oh, I wanted it so much. It was alive!
After we had dinner at Parkway Parade at the basement foodcourt. My sis and I had Korean, and I just want to warn you. Don't have Korean at the basement foodcourt in Parkway Parade. The cashier, Helen Cheong was a grumpy old hag. She suggested that we had a little chili added to our Ramyuen, it would taste better. While my sis and I were considering that option, she got cranky and irritated. And! The Ramyuen are instant noodles. Let's just say I saw this one guy eating them, but I still wanted to try Korean, so I went for it.
Anyway, after we went home, and my sis and I had a laughing fit. We did crazy things, like I smiled at random people and cars (there weren't that many anyway) brightly, and we ran crazily, you know, with our arms pumping and our legs bending up all the way to our waists on the way to our house.
A cop car passed by us and on to another part of the estate. I woke up at 9.45 am today, and I intend to spend this day just like I would any other.

2007
It's 2007. Cool.
Anyway, during dinner, because we (my sis, mom and I) were sitting with two of my mom's nephews, my mom's sister-in-law, also the mom of one of the guys (who were . . . sixteen I think) came over and bent between me and my sis. And do you know what she said? She suggested in a flirty voice that we should talk to her son. Who looks like a gangster, by the way, only missing the ear studs. I ignored that, of course, which was of course the best response to something as gross as that, but my sis, she went- 'blargh'. Not good.
Anyway, we went to my mom's sister's son+wife's new apartment. I still don't think of him as my cousin. It was pretty nicely decorated, the dining table was rectangular and black . . . and small, and the couch was black too, and they had a plasma. The kitchen color theme was black and white . . . and the bedroom was pretty cool.
See, actually it was a three room apartment, but they found the master bedroom too small, so they tore down a wall and now it's a two room apartment. They used dark colors for the bedroom, and the wallpaper was flowered. In a cool way.
Everybody was gushing about how the house was too wonderful, but believe me, my uncle's (whom I go to church with) and his wife and two kids' apartment which they bought a few years back and renovated is still, way cooler.
But anyway, you all know how you're not supposed to crawl or even lie or whatever on people's beds, right? Well, maybe this was an exception because they were relatives, but my mom's nieces and nephews were all over the bed, even the twelve year-old boy. Duh. Whatever, but if it was my bed, sorry man, you gotta get out. Anyway, my mom's sister-in-law's sister brought along her long-awaited baby and put him on the master bedroom bed.
People played with the baby for a while, and when it was time to go home, they discovered two wet patches on the back of the baby. Probably its pee or something. Blargh. Anyway, the mistress of the house was looking on, and she actually was quite worried. I mean, come on, it is her bed. But luckily for her the bed was dry . . . or so I heard.
Anyway, we reached home at about, 1 a.m or so, and I was beat. So I slept until 9.30 this morning, and just-everything felt different. Probably with the knowledge that it's a new year.
I don't really have any priorities for this year, but I do hope I won't mess up. Really.
