2007
It's 2007. Cool.
Anyway, during dinner, because we (my sis, mom and I) were sitting with two of my mom's nephews, my mom's sister-in-law, also the mom of one of the guys (who were . . . sixteen I think) came over and bent between me and my sis. And do you know what she said? She suggested in a flirty voice that we should talk to her son. Who looks like a gangster, by the way, only missing the ear studs. I ignored that, of course, which was of course the best response to something as gross as that, but my sis, she went- 'blargh'. Not good.
Anyway, we went to my mom's sister's son+wife's new apartment. I still don't think of him as my cousin. It was pretty nicely decorated, the dining table was rectangular and black . . . and small, and the couch was black too, and they had a plasma. The kitchen color theme was black and white . . . and the bedroom was pretty cool.
See, actually it was a three room apartment, but they found the master bedroom too small, so they tore down a wall and now it's a two room apartment. They used dark colors for the bedroom, and the wallpaper was flowered. In a cool way.
Everybody was gushing about how the house was too wonderful, but believe me, my uncle's (whom I go to church with) and his wife and two kids' apartment which they bought a few years back and renovated is still, way cooler.
But anyway, you all know how you're not supposed to crawl or even lie or whatever on people's beds, right? Well, maybe this was an exception because they were relatives, but my mom's nieces and nephews were all over the bed, even the twelve year-old boy. Duh. Whatever, but if it was my bed, sorry man, you gotta get out. Anyway, my mom's sister-in-law's sister brought along her long-awaited baby and put him on the master bedroom bed.
People played with the baby for a while, and when it was time to go home, they discovered two wet patches on the back of the baby. Probably its pee or something. Blargh. Anyway, the mistress of the house was looking on, and she actually was quite worried. I mean, come on, it is her bed. But luckily for her the bed was dry . . . or so I heard.
Anyway, we reached home at about, 1 a.m or so, and I was beat. So I slept until 9.30 this morning, and just-everything felt different. Probably with the knowledge that it's a new year.
I don't really have any priorities for this year, but I do hope I won't mess up. Really.
