Hi people! Back from the RGS CCA Orientation. Hm, first in the morning I took the train down to Bishan to meet my dad cos I had to register for my Japanese classes at the Bishan Language Centre.. and it was HOT LIKE HELL. The weather, I mean. Them after we had McDonald's lunch at J8. OMGosh, so FAT and UNHEALTHY. I haven't eaten a MacDonald's meal in ages I think and I don't want to start. :( Anyway! After that my dad dropped my off at RGS and there was quite a long line of cars on the road, and I was almost late. Sort of. Then after the whole briefing, the prefects took us around to see the CCA booths. Well, actually for those of us who hadn't been there on 21 Dec, we had to go for a 'talk' by the Vice-Principal then the prefects led us on the tour. The tour took 2 whole hours, more or less you know! I never knew it'd take so long. But then again, they have alot of CCAs. Then after that during free and easy, Nicole and I walked around but didn't really do much. Then I walked around trying to find the way out again for quite long - like, 15 minutes? So lame, I know. What?! Okay, so that's about it. The Japanese stuff were very expensive! The most expensive among the foreign languages, anyway. French costs only about a hundred bucks, German is about seventy bucks, and Japanese is about a hundred and twenty bucks! OK! SAYONARA GUYS!

Hi people! I am very very very happy! Just now I just got a call from RGS and I got in via appeal! OMIGOSH!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY!!!!! Okay, let me just say this first. Everything I have today, now, and what everything that is happening in my life right now, all the GLORIOUS, FANTASTIC things right now only happened because of my Lord Jesus Christ. Without Lord Jesus, I would never have gotten into RGS or gotten my PSLE T-score. THANK YOU LORD! YOU ROCK! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Cos you know what? It is my church's (New Creation Church!!!) custom that at every Christmas service, our senior pastor, Pastor Joseph Prince, will ask us all to make three wishes to God, just so that when it comes true, we know that everything that happened is because we ask God and he gives to us:) and I just remembered last Sunday that maybe the previous Christmas, that is, 25 December 2006, I may have wished for 271 to God. I can't remember now, since it was so long ago, but it might just have been so. I can't remember but I think I did. PRAISE GOD! And then last Sunday I wished to God that I would get into RGS via appeal. THANK YOU LORD! :D Okay, if not for my Lord I would never have gotten into RGS because guess what? I did not do well in the interview AT ALL. Not kidding. And nobody else knows what happened in the room except for God and myself. I didn't tell anybody. THANK YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST! YAY! ALL PRAISE TO JESUS CHRIST! OK, that's all. I', supposed to go to RGS to get the transfer letter, then I have to buy all the uniform and textbooks and stuff. YAY! OK, ciao! THANK YOU JESUS! THIS ONLY HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOU!! :)

Continued...
Day 04 (Continued): So we went for a walk too around Lake Kawaguchi area and it was very cold. Oh yeah, did I mention? You could see your breath at Lake Kawaguchi and on Mt. Fuji. So anyway, we saw some idiots (2, to be exact) walking towards this convenience store from our hotel in the yukata and some clogs. I mean, the yukata is a freaking bathrobe! I think the Japanese were put off but didn't comment. Then we slept that night on tatami mats or futons or whatever. But I knew it was tatami. But maybe it's not called mat. Anyway, the hotel we stayed in was traditional Japanese style. And my sis and I stayed up very late because we couldn't find our socks and were searching for them, when in reality I had seen them but thought they were old ones. LOL. Day 05: We set off from the hotel down Mt. Fuji. Oh yeah, in the morning we had traditional Japanese breakfast again and took a picture in front of Mt. Fuji (which was visible in the distance but not on film) and Lake Kawaguchi. The waitressess were all Japanese old ladies who were very cute! LOL. Even the old folks in Japan are cute. Then on the way down the mountain we visited this jewellery shop that had crystals from Mt. Fuji or something I can't remember where. The staff were all VERY POLITE, COURTEOUS AND FULL OF SMILES, something I was getting used to. Until I came back to Singapore and received crap service first thing at the stupid airport. Then we continued down the mountain and on east to Tokyo. We arrived in Tokyo around 10+ and first went to Ueno. Actually I think we went to Ueno but I'm not too sure if it WAS Ueno, just that it was like a flea market. The guidebook thing says Ueno is a flea market selling all the local Japanese food stuff. Anyway, I just know we shopped at Ameyoko Street. (Is it called Ameyoko? I can't remember!) My parents bought all the food stuff like chocolates and Japanese biscuits and stuff like that and dried food and all. Then we went and shopped at the 100 Yen shop too, where I bought a cute pair of Japanese chopsticks. Next we went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch. Then when we were leaving and everything, we went up the stairs to the second level of the restaurant. I hesitated at the door, where there was a raised platform, cause I wasn't sure whether you had to remove your shoes. I removed my shoes before stepping in anyway, cause I saw that on this level, people were dining, seated on the floor and without shoes. My mum just walked in with her shoes and a young kitchen boy had to rush out and stop her. It was HUMILIATING AND EMBARRASSING AT THE SAME TIME. I was kind of mad. After that, we visited Asakusa Kannon Temple and we shopped at Asakusa too (the street leading to the temple). On the way, we saw some international school children who were probably there on some school field trip and were being very loud. I bought some stuff, then we had to wait for my parents to finish up at the temple, then we bought some Japanese snacks, and then we stopped by a kindergarten on the street. The kids were so cute!!! And all the young mothers rode bikes there, were dressed up really nicely, like all the Japanese, wore boots and everything. And they would put their kids into like, these seats or whatever and then ride the bike home! And it was so cool! Yes, I know. Singaporean women... I don't know. We then went to this place where you can see the imitation of New York's Statue of Liberty and Tokyo's Rainbow Bridge. We saw this group of high school and above kids there too, and their teachers were scolding some of them. This girl was crying.. So anyway, we took some pictures, and we took pictures with a two Japanese high school girls! Then we went in this shopping centre and bought clothes from the Gap, and then took another picture with another two high school girls. But the first two were older then the last two, and were actually very willing and quite happy I guess to take a picture with my sis and I. But the last two were younger and quite surprised. I think they actually didn't want to take the picture. I mean, they're such poor things. I mean, seriously. Then after that we went to Shibuya, which houses the statue of Hachiko, but we didn't get to see it. Now Shibuya is busy. VERY VERY VERY BUSY. Seriously, there are so many people and when they cross the road on all four sides, it looks like a colony of ants. No kidding. We went to Shibuya 109, which is this shopping centre that most pre-teens and teenage girls/girls and boys (I can't remember) go. It's sort of like Far East Plaza, but way nicer. We didn't buy anything there, though. Next we went to Shinjuku, but I didn't get to go to Harajuku! In Harajuku, I think every weekend, the streets are closed and young people go dancing there and some are talent-scouted. Most, if not all I think, fashions in Japan were started in Harajuku. And if there is any fashionable stuff in Japan, they are supposed to be able to be found in Harajuku. That's what the local tour guide said. We had Japanese steamboat dinner thing in Shinjuku then just walked around. By that time I think I was already sick. Because at the start of the day, my throat was already feeling irritable. We stayed in this yucky Prince Hotel. It sucked! It was so disgusting. I missed the Westin and Hyatt then. It was also very dirty. DISGUSTING. Day 06: Tokyo Disneyland! Some people went to Disney Sea. Now Tokyo Disneyland ROCKS! OKAY?! We arrived in Tokyo Disneyland from 9-10 o'clock. And we stayed there until 8.30 PM. We just took rides, watched a 3D show which was supposed to have English translation headphones in the second last seat if I don't remember wrongly but my idiot dad didn't listen to my sis and so we just sat through the entire thing in Japanese, not comprehending a word. But it was quite nice! It was the Inventor Awards show or something, and you could actually feel mice among your feet at one point when mice were supposed to be released. But one acquaintance we met on the tour told us about it so I was quite prepared and raised my legs, but I could still feel the mice. LOL. Some Japanese were screaming. Ha ha. Then we just ate and stuff, and took this really cool roller coaster where I actually raised my hands! I know! I'm lame! Anyway, it was really fun. So we shopped at the shops there too and because it was so crowded (two particular shops out of the three we went to) my dad got damn frustrated and all. Then we watched an Electrical Parade, took pictures, bought ice cream and went back to the coach. Then we had Japanese Ramen and then went back to a nicer hotel than that idiot Prince Hotel, called Tokyu Hotel or something. I watched a basketball game on the TV. Day 07: Fly back to Singapore. It was raining. I was thinking, if we went up to Mt. Fuji that day maybe it would snow. But anyway, so we just shopped at Narita Int. Airport again cos my dad wanted to use up his yen. Then flew ANA back. I watched the Bourne Ultimaum and Mr Bean's Holiday. That's about it. Except some points I want to stress. Point 1: Japanese people are very courteous! They always smile at you and say thank you and stuff. Singaporeans? Forget it. Point 2: They are very cultured and refined. You know how in Singapore anywhere, in shopping centres or on the street or whatever? Some idiot Singaporeans talk damn loud like market people? And behave like barbarians or relatives of them? Yeah, well, that never happens in Japan. Ever. They talk softly. As in, among themselves. They don't disturb you. Very refined. Really. I don't know how to explain it properly. They just don't behave like rubbish Singaporean people. Point 3: They all always dress up nicely. Really. I know this is winter, but they don't just throw on a soiled shirt or something. Really. They don't dress like rubbish Singaporeans either. Point 4: Kyoto ROCKS! LOL. Point 5: On the whole, Japan is just great. Singapore IS below Japan. I can't explain this either.

Back from NIPPON
Hi guys! Just arrived back in Singapore yesterday at approximately 5+++. But I had to help my mum with the unpacking and stuff and I was really tired so I didn't use the computer. Also, I fell sick halfway in my trip. I had a fever and cough and a running nose on Wednesday I think. But anyway, JAPAN ROCKS. And Singapore sucks, really. Day 01: Flew ANA (All Nippon Airways) to Narita International Airport in Tokyo, then had a connecting flight to Osaka's Itami Airport. Now, the airport staff were all EXTREMELY POLITE AND NICE. Lots of smiling and courtesy. Very, very cool. Their airport is also very clean, and has been renovated so can I just say it is better than Singapore's rubbish airport? I mean, in terms of the environment Singapore's airport definitely loses out to Narita. Now in terms of staff courtesy and stuff like that, Singapore loses hands down! So after landing in Osaka, it was already dark. So we went to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant where you sit on the floor and stuff like that. Next, we went to Hyatt Hotel. And HYATT HOTEL OSAKA ROCKS! You know they provide yukata (bathrobe) and disposable slippers for your use?! Well, all the hotels in Japan provided slippers but some of the slippers sucked. I shall explain later. And Japan is beautiful! It's cold there, yes, too! But duh, cause it's winter, right? Day 02: The hotel has a restaurant, and you need tickets to enter or something. It's really nice and clean and packed, so if you come too late you have to queue outside. I mean, everybody already queues before opening time (7 AM JAPAN TIME) but you know. And then after that we took the coach to see Osaka Castle. But we only got to look at it from the outside. After that, we went to Universal Studios Japan (USJ). It rocked! Very fun! You know they ave cobbled streets and it's very... packed and crowded and busy and they have themed restaurants. Oh yeah, you know that by five it's dark in Japan. Their two-three o'clock sky is our six+ sky. So anyway, after that we went to Shinsaibashi. It is like, the hotspot of Osaka. As in, it has the most people. And it is like, this shopping place. So anyway, we had some famous Ramen (which rocked too) and then just walked around. Another observation: EVERYBODY, and when I say everybody I mean, EVERYBODY wears boots in Japan. For the female population. You know, those high heeled boots? Yeah, and they all dress up outrageously too. Especially the people in Shinsaibashi so far as I've seen. And in USJ, most people didn't wear jeans. They wore like, maybe some top(s), a winter jacket with a hooded lined with fur, shorts, tights and boots. Boots vary, but most people in Osaka wore high-heeled boots. If not boots then high-heeled shoes, like pumps or whatever. They dressed up really nice, everybody. The guys too. And NO SKINNY JEANS whatsoever on the guys. Which rocks. Then after that in Shinsaibashi we took neoprints in some arcade place. And guess what? You know neoprints cost about, 10 bucks in Singapore right? Well, there's this one neoprint booth that is like, pink and has a black flag and it's theme is flowers or something? I think there's one in Cineplex. Well, I think in Singapore it costs 10-11 bucks but in Japan it only cost only 400 yen. Which is like, SGD 5++. Or something. Day 03: After breakfast at Hyatt again, whereby I embarrased myself repeatedly and even droppped a piece of bacon on the floor, we took the coach to Nara Deer Park. There's a lot of CUTE DEER who walk around and stuff and you can buy deer food to feed them but then they'd just keep following you around. Then we visited Todaiji Temple. And then after that we set off to Kyoto!!!!! KYOTO-Now, I just have to say this: KYOTO ROCKS. IT ROCKS!!! IT IS MY FAVOURITE JAPANESE CITY OR WHATEVER IT IS CALLED. You know we walked up a hill to the Kyomizu Temple in Kyoto, and on the way we were walking up this little street that was lined on both sides with small little quaint Japanese shops. And the street was crowded, the tree leaves were yellow or orange, and we spotted many geiko (geisha)s. It was BEAUTIFUL. JUST BEAUTIFUL. After we visited the temple and TOOK PICTURES WITH A GROUP OF PRETTY GEIKOS!!!!! I also saw this gay guy wearing a pink wig on his head and holding dolls. Weird. And there the tree leaves were red and some orange and some yellow and they were fluttering to the floor and carpeting the ground. It was BEAUTIFUL. Then we walked back down the same street that we took up to the temple and shopped. And we also bought ice cream! YUM! I bought some really lovely Japanese stuff from the little shops where SERVICE IS AMAZING AND EVERYBODY IS DAMN POLITE AND ACTUALLY SMILES AT YOU. It was just amazing. Even the old ladies in Japan are cute! LOL. Then we stayed at Westin Hotel in Nagoya. It rocked too! Day 04: We went up to Mt. Fuji! Okay, on the way, when we were in the bus, I was wearing this red woolen sweater and it was damn hot and stuffy and I was actually sweating. Okay. SWEATING. We stopped at a roadside stop where people can rest and stuff and took some pictures and stuff. Then we had a traditional Japanese lunch with steamed stuff and then we went up to Mt. Fuji! It didn't snow, but we could see snow. And it was DAMN COLD UP THERE! It was -6 degrees celsius and my ears were hurting from the cold. Even though I was wearing gloves it was still freezing. I touched snow! The snow is wet and cold and is like thousands of shaved ice. Then we went down to Lake Kawaguchi and had a traditional Japanese steamboat dinner. You can also have an Onsen bath but I didn't. Will update more later.

Hi guys! I guess I'm going to Japan on Friday! Yay! Omigosh, I'm going Japan! YAYYYYY! BUT I GUESS I CAN ONLY BE SURE OF IT ON FRIDAY. IM GOING NIPPON. IM GOING JAPAN. YAYYYYY!!!!! I just got all excited today. So anyway, since it's going to be winter there... gotta dress differently! Okay, I have started rereading Vampire Knight today, 'cos I'm so out of it and I've practically forgotten the whole story and don't understand alot of things. I'm only on chapter 12. So slow, right!? So anyway, Bleach still ROCKS! Oh, for VK, I still love Kaname. :) Oh, and for Bleach, I still like Renji, thought not so much as before... and I like Byakuya now, I guess? He seems nicer after saving Rukia at the Soukyoku grounds. Okay, that's about it! Sayonara people!

Hi guys! Yes, I haven't written in a long time... so anyway, this past week (last Sunday to yesterday) my cousin and her dog, Surprise (remember him?) was over to stay. So mornings started with taking him out for a walk and picking up his poop (for me, at least). So anyway, my sis is still a BITCH. B.I.T.C.H. Okay? But she must be very self-satisfied this past weekend. Why? Well, for some unknown reason as she denies the reason I offer, she has made black faces at everybody, been a bitch at the mall that I will probably never forgive her for, been an asshole at home, destroyed my iPod USB cable, and on top of all that, manipulated me into helping her after all of her evil deeds blackening her soot-soaked heart to a colorless, sodden mess of squirming menace and fickle hatred. I don't care what she says. To me, my iPod cable IS DESTROYED. Got it? You may understand what I'm implying. So anyway, forget that bitch. Oh, but for another moment. The mall business. And when I say she was a bitch at the mall, I don't mean it like, 'Hey, she is such a bitch!' bitch. I mean, bitch. The true, blue, deep down meaning of 'bitch'. A cutting scheming witch. So anyway, I still don't dare to say much, but we may be going to Japan on Friday! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! If we can go, we're taking ANA (All Nippon Airways) and then flying to Tokyo's Narita Airport, have a terminal and then fly to Osaka. So basically the first and last days of the trip are flying. Well, half of the last day, but ANYWAY. LOL. So anyway. What else did I want to say? I can't remember... Okay, so anyway, hi Nic if you can see this in US. Please remember to leave a message. And... okay, bye everyone! Sayonara! Oh yeah, my dad is sending this idiotic piece of junk (my computer, anyone wants to buy? I'm selling for $6000 so I can get a Mac Book Pro and still have leftover money.)LOL. So anyway, he's sending it on Thursday, for repair (ABOUT TIME! Anyway, I don't know whether it's really repair, it's more of upgrading, but...) so Wednesday night will be my last time on this piece of shit until I return from Japan. I'll be gone a week. I know, quite short. But anyway! So sad, we can't hike up to the peak of Mt. Fuji? So unfair. Okay, bye guys!
